Jcrew

The favorite outfit this summer, my green eyelet skirt brought out from hiding under a deep pile in a dark corner of my closet to be worn with my new Jcrew color blocked heels.

Boho Inspo

Two random boho inspirations from my blog browsing this morning.  As you can tell the first is yet another missoni wedding pic spotted on margherita's twitter (check out those shoes!) and the second is from my favorite blogger with funky handwriting,  http://www.garancedore.fr/en

Valerie Boster on vogue.com

These pics of Valerie Boster on http://www.vogue.com/ have me eagerly anticipating my trip home to the beach in August.  That pink dress with the chunky turquoise necklace is to die for!  Actually, I doubt my husband would agree but her swimsuit is pretty lustworthy as well.

Missoni Wedding

I'm swooning as I stalk margherita missoni's wedding pictures on http://www.vogue.it/people-are-talking-about/parties-events/2012/06/il-matrimonio-missoni for the umpteenth time this week.  The heart shaped berry cake is romantic perfection and everything looked all around bohobabe-alicious.

Grecian Views

I think we all know where I wish I was sitting right now.

Santorini or Mykonos, I'm not picky.

I'd even take an overpriced beer without complaining, (which is what I was drinking
when the last photo was taken.)

Tom Fruin's Watertower

Spotted these pics of Tom Fruin's new sculptural artwork, Watertower in Brooklyn on Design Sponge.  It is composed of about one thousand scraps of reclaimed plexiglass which makes me think that Portland really needs him to do something like this for us, duh we love salvage.

Prime viewing of this work is from the Brooklyn Bridge bike path.  Gosh there is so much material for jokes about the Portland-Brooklyn hipster duel in the artists description of this work.

ps. below is not related to the Watertower but is another Tom Fruin piece I can barely take in.

Alex Kanevsky

I love these blurry, muted waves by Alex Kanevsky.
