I should have known not to click on "Isabel Marant Spring 2013" on Style.com while taking a "quick" break from packing. How is it that her collection somehow always incorporates everything I love, cowboys one day boho gypsies the next. I'm already getting excited for the paisley and hawaiian print craze this will inevitably incite. Plus the accessories are perfect, just simple necklaces and plain leather belts. This collection is everything a bouganvilla dreamer wants to wear.

Hammock's
It's Ryan's first day of school and becoming more and more difficult to ignore the onset of fall...WHAT THE!? I haven't even gotten my hammock time in yet.
I feel robbed and like I need to take a trip to Croatia. Specifically to the spot in the second pic which I pulled from my outdoor spaces pinterest board.

Topless&Tan
Two classic 80's summer fashion moments from my tumblr blog, bouganvilladreaming
The blue and white striped hat is just so great and everyone needs a pair of levi's cutoffs.
But anyway...topless, do you dare?

Garza Furniture
Today I am fully lusting after the Garza furniture and textiles I just spotted on design sponge. Vintage Bolivian blankets, leather, wood, major pops of color...it's all speaking my language! Not exactly shocked that it's all hand crafted in Marfa, Texas a place I've been dying to visit.
ps. when I go to Marfa I am staying here:
Bouganvilla
Guess who's been sending me bouganvilla pics? Emily R of http://emilyrosendahl.wordpress.com/! It does makes me jealous to see these beautiful bushes with nothing of the sort up here but oh well I do like to look! Summerland will always be one of my favorite places in the world, not only for it's bouganvilla but also for my memories of living with sweet friends in paradise. Wish I could go for an afternoon walk with them down that road today!
and while we're on the topic of bouganvilla I just can't help myself, Lucy's life:
pps. you have seen Emily's new Summerland photoshoot right?

Lake Trip
We had the best mini anniversary trip last week, camping for the night at Lost Lake and enjoying the views of Mt. Hood. Although a little disappointed because we thought we'd be able to rent stand up paddleboards, we made due with a kayak and had a fun paddling around the lake before our picnic on the dock. The best moments however came the next morning, walking the perimeter of the lake as the morning sun sparkled on the water. I hope you can get a taste of the beauty of a view we encountered as we rounded the lake and got sight of the full mountain framed by the lake.
The last photo is of Trilium Lake where we stopped on our drive home. It's not as great as Lost Lake in my opinion but clearly a prime spot if you are a fisherman!
