Kathy Klein's danmalas at Dosa NY

Dosa always does the coolest collaborations and the latest is no exception.  I do have a slight floral obsession that may be influencing my affections but everyone can appreciate the happy rays so clearly emitting from these small pieces of art.

What danmala's are and more according to the danmala website :

In vedic sanskrit dān: the giver, mālā: garland of flowers
the giving of flower circles

Kathy Klein is a devout lover of plants, animals, people and the divine presence within all.  She creates the danmalas by first centering herself in a meditative devotional space.  Next she gathers flowers and natural objects while her mind is kept in mantra, resting in the immaterial. Then, through an act of grace and giving to all, she allows the materials to fall to the will of creation patterns. Her inspiration is given from the golden sound residing within perfect silence. They are reflections of the inexpressible, a gesture which points towards life’s abundance, an unspoken verse of Love. The danmalas remind us all to listen to the unheard voice of nature, creation, and the eternal mystery.

 Putting a print like this on a more dressed up silluette is perfectly island girl fabulous.

Hermes

Just came across these images from the Hermes Spring/Summer 2011 ad campaign and fell in love.  The amount of bracelets they put on the model is admittedly a little ridic but still, they always come out with the most elegant, happy chic campaigns.

A scarf is the bouganvilla dreamers favorite accessory.
