I don't get people who say Fall is their favorite season for fashion, the Spring/Summer collections always fill my bouganvilla dreaming self with particular happiness and delight. This mornings JCrew email was a case in point, that neon skirt!  That vintage looking silk hawaiian print shirt!  That orange and turquoise sweater!  Spring is coming and I can barely wait.

This jewelry is so beautifully gypset chic I am dying over it!  I first spotted it on a cute lady in Portland the other day who directed me to the etsy page of it's Portugese maker.  Most of the pieces are made with a combination of silk, cotton and organic corn threads as well as mixed metals and some leather.  

What's organic corn thread?  I don't know but it sounds cool ;)

Ryan McGinley

Aren't these Ryan McGinley photo's of Sienna Miller for British Vogue awesome?  I don't know how I would feel about having parakeets perch all over my naked body but I do adore this beautiful spread, it is beyond.  He did the photography for my other recent favorite bouganvilla dreaming shoot of Karlie Kloss in Nicaragua with the New York Times and thus an obsession has begun.

Definitely someone worth spending the rest of the night checking out. :)

The lovely pomelo

I bought this lovely pomelo on a whim and am so happy I did, it is delish!  A bouganvilla dreamers delight! The largest citrus fruit, to me it is similar to a grapefruit minus the tartness and there's something I just love about the super spongy rind.

Bouganvilla Dreaming New Year

Ryan and I are still on a high from New Years; perfect weather, good food, and beautiful friends with great dance moves, what more can you ask for?

The drive on the coast from my parents house to Santa Barbara always blows me away and I got a little carried away with the iphone pics.  enjoy?
